I have spent a bit of time post Niagara rally doing some clean up in the garage. The compression issue is now solved in the engine.
The known unknowns at this time to resolve are correcting the carbing and getting the head light running. The 12 volt ignition has been installed and all looks good so far. The bike is able to kick over now, but is spewing a lot of nasty smoke.
The unknown unknowns I am sure are just lurking around the corner.
